Dice Media has just completed the e-commerce website for Johnnie-O. This site launch is also the debut for Dice Media’s proprietary e-commerce platform. The whole site is content managed, using PHP, MySQL, AJAX, XML, CSS and XHTML. The Dice Media system is trimmed down to offer more speed, while modular to add on more customized features. I will not only be redesigning the site, I will also be adding new categories and updating more often. The technology will also be upgraded. Moveable Type has been good to me for several years, but I will be upgrading to WordPress. Dice Media has launched the web site and identity for Scorpio Photo Agency. The site is built using Flash 8, and utilizes an XML based content management system. The news application aggregates news articles based on search criteria, then writes the RSS feed to XML for inclusion into the site. Dice Media created the brand for Scorpio by designing the logo, letterhead, envelopes and brochure.
