Early on, it was also envisioned this material would be best delivered over networks in and to schools, libraries and homes.

Among the projects undertaken was The Video Encyclopedia of Physics Demonstrations, a comprehensive series of 600 video taped physics demonstrations and related material, which was produced under the auspices of the National Science Foundation.

Currently being used to teach physics at over 4000 middle schools, high schools and universities in the U.S., and in 52 other countries throughout the world, the series, in English and Spanish, was first distributed on LaserDisc and then on DVD.

Subsequently, projects involving the broadband transmission of this material were undertaken by states and cities in the , and Europe , from servers maintained by them. The series, therefore, has, from time to, been available to students online throughout various parts of the world, both as classroom material and as part of distance learning programs.

The series is now available exclusively from our server, under license, utilizing various arrangements depending on the needs of the licensee.
