Yearning for the taste of his 20-year old margarita recipe when he traveled, and dissatisfied with the bottled options available, Mark Hirsch set out to create the same high quality, thirst quenching margarita, and make it available to the public.
Using top-shelf Tequila blended natural flavors of oak and chipotle, combined with real lemons and lemon concentrate, and bottling it with a 9.0% alcohol content, Markarita stands to be the new top-shelf alternative to beer or malt liquor. With the increasing popularity of bottled cocktails, along with a new appreciation and growth of top-shelf Tequilas, Mark recognized the need to create his favorite margarita drink, bottle it and promote it across the country.
